Short answer: yes, but with a few honest caveats. Here's how we handle product imagery and specs.
Where the photos come from
At launch, most product photos are supplied by the brand. We're building out an in-house photo studio over the next 6–8 weeks; the goal is for every listing to eventually include at least one Wehoz-shot photo so you can see the item as it really arrives.
Where the specs come from
Specs (dimensions, weight, materials, capacity, power rating) come from the brand's product data when available, and from our own measurements for items we've handled. We tag spec sources internally; if you ever want to know whether a number is brand-supplied or measured by us, ask.
What if my item doesn't match the listing?
That's a wrong-item or defective shipment — we treat it the same way:
- Take a photo of what arrived
- Email us within 7 days with the order number and the photo
- We'll either reship the correct item, refund, or let you keep what arrived at a fair discount
We don't penalize anyone for catching a listing error. If anything, it's helpful — we update the listing so the next person sees accurate info.
Color accuracy
Phones and laptops vary wildly in how they display color, and product photos are usually shot in studio lighting. We try to use neutral lighting and avoid over-saturation, but a slight off-color is common.
If a color is dramatically wrong (you ordered "navy" and got "royal blue"), that's a wrong-item shipment — return it the standard way.
