Applying, saving your draft, and what happens next

How the seller application works — resume links, document upload, submission checks, review timing, and every status you might see.

Updated August 7, 2026

title: Applying, saving your draft, and what happens next description: How the seller application works — resume links, document upload, submission checks, review timing, and every status you might see. topic: seller-help order: 12 updated_at: "2026-08-07" phase: live tags: [seller, application, review, status] related: [eligibility-and-documents, seller-agreement, getting-started]

The application lives at /sell/apply. It's built to be filled in over multiple sittings — nothing is lost if you close the tab.

Starting and resuming

  1. Enter your contact email (and optionally your business name) to start a draft.
  2. We immediately email you a resume link. It's valid for 60 days and is tied to your application and email — bookmark the email, and you can pick up where you left off from any device.
  3. Fill in business details, upload documents, and submit when ready.

One application per email address: if your email already has an application in progress, starting again returns you to the existing one instead of creating a duplicate.

Submitting

The submit step validates everything listed in Who can sell, and what documents you need. If something required is missing, you get a specific list of what to fix — nothing is silently dropped. On success you receive a confirmation email, and our review team is notified.

Review timing and outcomes

Most applications are reviewed within 3 business days. You can check where things stand any time at /sell/status.

StatusWhat it means
DraftYou're still filling it in. Editable.
SubmittedIn the review queue. Locked for editing.
Under reviewA reviewer is looking at it, or it was held for extra checks (for example, a sanctions-screening match).
Info requestedWe need something clarified — the application unlocks so you can update it and resubmit.
ApprovedYou're in. Next steps: sign the seller agreement and connect Stripe.
RejectedWe include the reason in the decision email.

After approval

Approval unlocks the seller dashboard. Two things stand between you and your first sale:

  1. Sign the seller agreement — see The seller agreement.
  2. Connect Stripe from the dashboard onboarding page — see Getting paid.

Then send us your catalog for import: Getting your products listed.

If you're rejected

The decision email includes the reason. If the reason was fixable — a missing document, an unclear business record — you're welcome to reply to it or email help@wehoz.com before applying again.
