Wehoz's shipping integration is Shippo. You have two ways to get a package moving, and you can mix them per shipment.
Option 1 — buy the label in the dashboard
From a fulfillment, use Buy label. The dashboard quotes carrier rates through Shippo from your warehouse address to the buyer, you pick one, and the label is generated for you. Tracking attaches to the fulfillment automatically, and delivery updates flow back through Shippo's webhooks — the buyer sees progress without you doing anything else.
To use this path you need a warehouse address on file (Settings → Shipping). You can also enable or disable individual carrier accounts from the shipping settings.
Option 2 — use your own carrier account (BYOL)
If you have negotiated rates with UPS, FedEx, USPS, or another carrier, ship on your own account:
- Ship the package however you normally do.
- Mark the fulfillment shipped and enter the carrier and tracking number.
Tracking is mandatory on this path — the dashboard won't let you mark a fulfillment shipped on your own label without a tracking number. Once entered, we register the tracking number with Shippo's tracking service, so delivery updates still flow to the buyer and to your on-time metrics automatically.
Picking a default
Settings → Shipping has a default label source with three options:
| Setting | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Shippo | Dashboard label purchase is the default flow |
| Own carrier | Manual tracking entry is the default, and tracking is required at ship time |
| Choose at fulfillment | Pick per shipment (this is the initial default) |
Why tracking discipline matters
- On-time shipment is measured from tracking — ship physically but forget to mark it shipped, and the scorecard thinks you shipped late.
- The buyer's order page shows your tracking events. Missing tracking is the single biggest driver of "where is my order" messages and disputes.
- The seller agreement requires shipping via a tracked carrier and keeping tracking current in the dashboard.
Updating tracking
Entered a wrong number? Use the tracking edit action on the fulfillment to correct it — the new number replaces the old registration.
