This short notice is for California residents. It summarizes the categories of personal information WEHOZ INC collects and why we collect them. For the full picture, including how to exercise your rights, see our Privacy Policy.
Categories of personal information we collect
- Identifiers — name, email, mailing and shipping addresses, phone number, IP address, account ID.
- Commercial information — products viewed, items in your cart, past orders, returns, payment-method type (last four digits and brand only).
- Internet activity — pages visited, search terms, click and scroll events, browser and device data.
- Approximate geolocation — city or region inferred from IP.
- Audio and visual — photos and videos you upload as part of reviews, authenticity reports, or buyer-protection disputes.
- Inferences — product preferences and fraud-risk signals derived from the above.
Why we collect it
- To operate the marketplace, process and ship orders, handle returns, and resolve disputes.
- To personalize your experience and recommend products.
- To communicate with you about your orders and, with your consent, about new products and offers.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and counterfeits, and to keep the platform safe.
- To comply with our legal obligations (tax records, sanctions screening, consent demonstration).
How long we keep it
Each category has a specific retention period documented in our Privacy Policy (Section 7). In short, order and tax records are retained for seven years; account profile data is retained while your account is active and for thirty days after account deletion; marketing-preference state is retained indefinitely so we can honor unsubscribes.
Do we sell or share personal information?
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not currently engage in “sharing” under the CPRA definition for cross-context behavioral advertising. If we ever do, we will offer a clear opt-out via the “Your privacy choices” link in our footer.
Your rights as a California resident
You have the right to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of any sale or sharing, and limit the use of sensitive personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To exercise any of them, sign in and visit /account/privacy, or email privacy@wehoz.com.
