If a live listing misuses your brand — an unauthorized seller, a suspected counterfeit, content lifted from your materials — you can report it directly from your registry in the brand dashboard.
Filing a report
- Open your registry and choose report a listing.
- Identify the product and describe the problem in your own words: what's wrong, and how you know. At least a sentence or two — one-word reports can't be actioned.
- Submit. You get a reference number; keep it for follow-ups.
Reports go to Wehoz's trust-and-safety review queue. A reviewer looks at the listing, the seller, and your registry standing, and takes action where the report holds up.
Before you report — is this the right channel?
The dashboard report is for marketplace-policy problems: unauthorized resellers, MAP violations on live listings, brand misuse. Two situations call for a different door:
- Counterfeit goods — you can report here, but the dedicated authenticity report channel exists for exactly this, includes evidence upload, and sends you resolution updates by email.
- Copyright infringement (your photos, your copy, your packaging art used without permission) — if you want a formal takedown with statutory force, file a DMCA notice at /policies/dmca. That process requires sworn statements you make yourself, gives the seller counter-notice rights, and feeds the repeat-infringer strike system. A dashboard report is not a DMCA notice and doesn't carry those legal effects.

What to include for a fast resolution
- Which listing (link or product name) and which seller
- What specifically is wrong — "not on our authorized list", "below our MAP floor of $X", "uses our copyrighted studio photography"
- How you know — your reseller records, test purchase, image provenance
What happens next
Substantiated reports lead to action on the listing or seller — including, for authenticity violations, the immediate-termination consequences in the seller agreement. Unsubstantiated or abusive reporting cuts the other way: the reporting channel is part of your registry, and misuse can get a registry suspended.
